Heather and Cody were married at El Campo’s beautiful St. Philip’s Catholic Church. We have 3 other weddings coming up at this church and it is truly a beautiful place for a wedding to take place! Heather and Cody are very special to us for many reasons. The first of which is, way back when, many moons ago, Heather was the first bride to book her wedding with us. We had so much fun being involved with Heather and Cody throughout their wedding planning process. We were always making excuses and reasons to meet up about their wedding – usually over dinner somewhere!
Heather and Cody, thank you for letting us tell the story of the first day of your marriage!
Beautiful place-settings.
The ring bearer (Cody’s nephew) wanted to have his little hands just like Cody. His little hands + spiked up hair + sweet little bowtie = cutest thing ever.
He wanted to swing.
The ring-bearer’s beautiful sister, aka, cutest flower girl ever.

Heather was a stunning bride and quite possibly, the calmest bride I’ve ever worked with on a wedding day. She had a content peace about her all day. That’s the kind of thing that makes me know that these two, Heather and Cody, are in it for the long haul. On another note… how awesome is that birdcage veil?
The groom was doing some last minute memorization of his vows, via iPhone.
And then it was upon us. The wedding.
Cody and his soon-to-be father in law share a moment before the ceremony.

I love the face of Cody and his mother as Heather walked down the aisle. They are radiating love.
As Heather and Cody’s wedding day drew closer, I (Cat) kept feeling little pangs of sadness that we wouldn’t be able to spend as much time with them with wedding planning as an excuse. These little pangs culminated at this moment, as I got to see Cody’s face while his gorgeous bride was coming down the aisle. My camera was shaking as tears welled up in my eyes. No joke.
They both had their vows memorized. For the hopeless romantics in the crowd like myself, this was a fairy-tale moment.

Love this! Heather stumbled a bit going down the stairs but remained composed and graceful. How does this happen? I usually look like a mess! Heather, you are impressive!

These are their “We-Just-Got-Married” faces!

Heather and Cody had a large wedding party which means one thing: they have lots of friends and family who love them. What a great group of people to be with you on your wedding day!
They had planned on leaving in this antique car…
…but Cody surprised Heather with her dream come true… a horse and carriage! Cody, you sneaky rascal.
This is our favorite picture of the day!

Waiting to enter the reception at the Heritage Center in El Campo gave the group a little time to visit.
This moment, to me, is astounding. A crowded room watched them dance but for this split second, in this picture, it seems as if they were the only ones in the room.
Cody and his beautiful mother took their own spin on the dance floor.
And then the party got started! And party, they did.
The venue had an outside reception area too and a beautiful garden.
We stole the bride and groom for a little alone time. I love the way Cody’s looking at Heather in this one. Oh, and Heather’s cute hairpiece. Love that too!
Actual love letter from Heather’s grandfather.
This group knew how to have fun. There was some of the best dancing I’ve ever seen!
After a night of dinner and dancing, guests lined up to wish the couple off to their honeymoon in the Bahamas. A grand exit with sparklers no less!
Heather and Cody, you had a magnificent day that matched perfectly the exceptional love you have for one another! We are so excited for you as you embark on the next chapter of your life together as husband and wife! We are so glad to have met you and become friends with you during this, the happiest time! Best wishes to you for a long and happy life together!
